The government’s climate change advisor Ross Garnaut has said that “If we are seeing an intensification of extreme weather events now, you ain’t seen nothing yet.” Professor Garnaut today released another installment of his updated advice to the government on how to deal with climate change, and he’s not giving Australia good marks. He says that countries like China are making considerable progress in their efforts to reduce emissions, and that Australia’s actions so far have been a drag on the international effort.
