The emotive issue of wildlife culling has come to the fore again with the release of research from the Australian National University, which argues kangaroos are eating certain reptiles out of house and home. The researchers argue a study of grass structures and lizard populations around kangaroo grazing sites seems to show that as kangaroo populations go up, grass-dwelling reptile species go down. But not everyone finds the results of the study so compelling.
