Now that the majority of Australian citizens have been evacuated from Lebanon the question that’s being posed is who is going to pay. It’s an issue in the US and heading to be an issue here. President of the Australian Arabic Council Roland Jabbour says Lebanese Australians who have been living in Lebanon will have to pay their own costs. Emma Dandan from the Lebanese Muslim Association says a distinction shouldn’t be drawn between the two differnt kinds of evacuees and that the policy is causing hardship.
