All talk and little action on workplace gender equality

Most employers have good intentions regarding the creation of gender equality in their workplaces, but are unsure of how to go about implementing it. This was the finding of a Federal Government-funded report on Workplace Gender and Equality Strategy that has just been released. The report is in response to concerning data that shows right now in Australia only seven per cent of employers have a gender equality strategy in place, and only thirteen per cent of employers have women-friendly strategies like flexible work arrangements.
