Agriculture Ministers sign statement on climate change

This week, the State and Federal agriculture ministers signed the First National Statement on Climate Change and Agriculture, making a commitment with farmers to reduce carbon emissions.
Advocates welcomed the statement, saying it’s the first step to cut emissions. This is in line with a new report called ‘Farming Forever’ commissioned by Farmers for Climate Action.
