The Adjahdura people, in South Australia, are worried over news that a developer is seeking government approvals for a major housing development on the Yorke Peninsula. The site, near Port Wakefield, has been earmarked for more than 2000 new houses, in hopes of creating a satellite town. Quentin Agius, spokesperson for the Adjahdura traditional owners, says while they are not opposed to development as such, they want a commitment to transparency.
