The number of Aboriginal people in Australia’s prisons is steadily rising, and activists are calling on the government to make changes in the way Aboriginal suspects and prisoners are treated. The recent Pathways To Justice report by the Australian Law Reform Commission sheds light on the causes of this disparity, and suggests some possible solutions.
