Abbott hears concerns about Adelaide detention centre

Debate continues over the detention centre in the Adelaide hills town of Woodside in South Australia. Prime Minister Julia Gillard has not yet scheduled a visit to hear the concerns of local residents, but Opposition Leader Tony Abbott was there today. Greens Senator Sarah Hanson-Young weighed in on the debate, saying women and children being housed in the hills is not the “green light” to people smugglers Tony Abbott claims it to be.
