Queen bees aren’t born, they’re made. A diet of Royal Jelly turns a dull little worker bee into a queen. Research with bees is giving humans hope that it is possible to rise beyond one’s genetic inheritance. Professor Ryszard Maleska from the Australian National University’s College of Medicine, Biology and Environment says the research has important implications for humans. Psychologist Frances Quirk from the School of Medicine and Dentistry believes that the latest bee research is important to genetic researchers everywhere.
