Fair Work wage rise welcomed as win for Indigenous workers

The Fair Work Commission has increased minimum award wages by 4.75 per cent and the national minimum wage by 5.97 per cent.

The Centre for Indigenous People and Work has welcomed the decision, saying it will have a major impact on the economic security of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander workers.
