City of Sydney Investigates Banning Short-Term Rentals

The City of Sydney will investigate applying targeted bans to short term rentals after a resolution at last night’s council meeting. Short term rentals through platforms such as AirBnB or Stayz are in constant demand from tourists – but Councillor Sylvie Ellsmore says the consequences on liveability for Sydney locals demand tighter regulation.
