Amata in the Anangu Pitjinjara lands in the far north of South Australia had some unusual visitors this week. A group of businessmen led by city councillor Peter Darley took a week off from city life and headed north with their tools. They spent the week painting out the Arts Centre in Amata, and now they’re planning more trips to help out with fixing things that the community can’t get contractors out to do.
