Redfern’s Aboriginal Housing group is planning to take their concerns to the top, and will be seeking a meeting with the New South Wales Premier – citing a continued lack of support from the Minister for Redfern-Waterloo, Frank Sartor. CEO of the inner Sydney Aboriginal Housing Company Mick Mundine was last week insulted by Mr Sartor live to air on Koori Radio. Mr Mundine accepted the Minister’s apology, but today cancelled planned talks between the two, because Mr Sartor says he will not be moved on the issue of Indigenous Housing. Mr Mundine says Mr Sartor’s attitude has put many Redfern residents off side.
