Reproductive laws are different in every state and every country. California, for instance, where these laws are more relaxed, is cashing in on a baby business boom. Some fertility clinics in California market their services to overseas clients willing to pay thousands of dollars for a chance of having a baby. IVF, surrogacy, eggs for sale … that’s just some of what’s on offer. Fertility industry is a highly lucrative business but viewing it as such still sits uneasy with most people.
