Perth talk back host Howard Sattler is under fire for airing a caller’s racist comments on his show on Radio 6PR. The comments have received national attention after being the subject of an ABC Media Watch report. It’s not the first time Mr Sattler has featured on the program for allowing racial slurs. Unlike Mr Sattler, the Chief Executive Officer of the WA Aboriginal Legal Service Dennis Eggington doesn’t find the comment a laughing matter. He says the remarks are an outrage and is seeking legal advice about whether they breach the state’s racial vilification laws.
