50,000 Australian lawyers have signed a petition asking the Federal Government to investigate the injustices of the David Hicks trial. Hicks’ Australian lawyer, David McLeod, gave a press conference at the Law Institute of Victoria today. McLeod says there is an ‘avalanche’ of international support for Hicks, together with many Australian lawyers. He spoke about the success of the conference and the challenges of the trial.
