Tomorrow marks the 60th anniversary of modern warfares most devastating day, Hiroshima. The bomb killed more than 340,000 people, either instantly or from shock, burns and the after affects of radiation. Dr David Palmer, senior lecturer for the Department of American Studies at Flinders University said it is important to remember the lessons learned form Hiroshima. Dr Palmer who interviews survivors of the bomb said they have to live with the devastating consequences of a bomb that has gone decades and decades beyond its original use. He also said no American President has ever visited Hiroshima.
