Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon has today announced that Israeli settlers can occupy the Gaza strip for a little longer. The supposed pull-out of the settlers was meant to happen in July – that date is now August. The settlers are currently celebrating Independence day and 38 years of occupation. The Wire’s Neil Smart spoke with Palestinian-American Businessman, Sam Bahour, who was an eyewitness to the fireworks and parties on the Gaza Strip.
