One of the issues raised at the Independent Gambling Authority hearing in Adelaide yesterday was the provision of mandatory warnigns in gambling advertising. Bridget Cormack spoke to South Australian No Pokies MLC Nick Xenophon. He says warnings on gaming machines must send home a strong message about the dangers and consequences of gambling addiction.
