It Doesn’t Look Good for Australia’s Endangered Animals

The Red List of Endangered Species came out today, and for Australia it’s bad news for biodiversity. There are six hundred and sixty plants and animals in this country in danger of disappearing forever. One of those is the Nursery Frog found in the wet forests in the north east of Australia. They’re only just hanging on, and a degree or two will make the diference between life and death. Annie Hastwell spoke with Professor Nigel Stork from the Cairns Rainforest Cooperative Research Centre about the frog, and to former federal Environment Minister Barry Cohen who now runs the Calga Springs Wildlife Sanctuary.
