Islamic Leader and Muslim cleric Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf has travelled from New York to Australia at the invitation of the Carr government in New South Wales. He’s the founder of a non-profit educational and cultural organisation which aims to bridge the gap between the American public and American Muslims. He says Australia has the kind of robust multicultural organisations which he wishes he could franchise to the US.
