Redfern is not the only part of the country where police and indigenous teenagers are having problems. Townsville’s simmering racial divide came to national attention last year when a young aboriginal boy was run over in an alleged race attack – followed by a letterbox distribution of Klu Klux Klan leaflets. But a group of Indigenous parents are taking pro-active steps … Kerry Klimm spoke to Reconciliation Forum organiser Florence Onus.
