Halliburton and Bectel are massive American corporations already in the firing line for the favourable treatment they’ve received in getting lucrative contracts to rebuild Iraq. American Peace Groups are angry at the direct connections the companies have to the US administration. Simon Harak from the War Resisters League is one of the organisers of what he claims is the biggest coordinated demonstration so far, outside the company offices in 20 states next Tuesday.
