This year, Multicultural Community Services of Central Australia hosted its Big Day Out In Harmony in Alice Springs, acknowledging the diversity within its community.
Headlining this year was Australian Iranian jazz musician Tara Tiba, who emigrated to Australia because of the Iranian regime.
She was diagnosed with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis Chronic Fatigue Syndrome more than a decade ago and has released two albums through this time, recently breaking an illness-enforced silence.
