Indigenous Australians are reportedly some of the biggest sufferers of kidney disease. There have been moves in remote parts of Australia to combat this and raise awareness about kidney health. However, the education, planning, and prevention measures are under threat as renal patients in Western Australia are being denied access to their closest facilities.
