2023’s Ramsay art prize winner has spent the past two years overseas, mostly Berlin-based.

For just two weeks artist, Ida Sophia returned home to South Australia.

A place linked to childhood.. growing up, and the inspiration for her religious themes.

Her latest exhibit Limited Terms of Grace a mix of visual and performative mediums, extend these ideas by drawing from Christian material culture.

The Ramsay Art Prize is presented by the South Australian Art Galley and is awarded every two years to Australian artists under 40.
