The success enjoyed by Premier Roger Cook is a personal triumph following on from the comprehensive win by Mark McGown in 2021.
The Liberals have scraped through to again become the official Opposition, a title they had ignominiously lost for the last parliament.
With a Federal election only weeks away, WA looks quite solid for Labor, although some seats could be lost in a correction from the Covid backlash period.
