A former human rights legal advocate, Loren has since turned her attention to journalism, joining The Wire as Social Media Producer in March 2016. This means she must constantly be on Twitter, which she reckons is a sweet deal.
A media professional, Loren has also penned stories for a variety of outlets including The Sydney Morning Herald, the ABC and writes weekly for APN Educational Media. Loren holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws from UNSW and is currently undertaking a Masters in Journalism at UTS.
