Emma is an Adelaide-based journalist and media professional. She also writes and produces art.

Emma began her undergraduate in Social Work at the University of South Australia before segueing into Writing and Creative Communications. She since completed postgraduate qualifications in Journalism and Public Relations at Deakin University.

Emma has over nine years’ experience in print, broadcast and online mediums covering topics from social justice, women’s rights, Indigenous affairs and politics to health, human interest, education and the arts.

A detour through the doors of Radio Adelaide in 2020 led to her unexpected love for the airwaves and community radio. She joined The Wire as a reporter in February 2023 and now produces Thursday’s program.
