Youth could help change constitution

Campaigners say the constitution is discriminatory and needs to be updated to recognise Indigenous Australians. They say that young Australians could trigger the move by raising awareness of the issue. Recognise proposes to remove the sections of the constitution that allow states the power to ban people from voting based on their race and pass laws that do the same.
