Is technology the solution for non-enrolled young voters?

Last week the Australian Electoral Commission released figures showing around 350 000 young people are not enrolled to vote.

While this is nothing new, there is now technology allowing for automatic enrolment, with several states in the USA adopting the measure.

But advocates say this isn’t a perfect solution.
