An 11-year-old Yemeni girl has spoken out about child marriage in a YouTube video that has gone viral. She says her parents tried to marry her off in exchange for money but “death would be a better option”. Nada Al-Ahda refuses to become part of half the girls wedded by the age of 18 as she questions where the innocence of children has gone.
