Representative members of the Yalata Aboriginal community are travelling to Nagasaki, Japan this week, to offer a peace sculpture at the city’s Peace Park. After a grueling twelve-month approval process, the sculpture finally received acceptance by the city council.

The sculpture marks the first Australian offering to the park, symbolizing the strive for peace within Japan, Australia and the rest of the world.
