For the first time in history, An Australian Prime Minister has acknowledged and thanked the nursing profession on International Nurses Day, for their hours and dedication. The gratitude comes after the incredible work nurses have done in fighting the pandemic which has seen the world ground to a halt.

Yet the day has also highlighted that the sector is in need of government support, so that Australians can continue to receive the health care they need.
