The Australian Human Right’s Commission have just released an inspection report called “Not Just An After Thought,” looking at the quality of Women’s Immigration Detention Centres around Australia and the lived experiences of women in these facilities.
The report highlights improvements needed for the detention centres and includes recommendations for the federal government to act upon.
