Today, Treasurer Scott Morrison unveiled a compromise deal on superannuation changes.

The changes include ridding of the $500,000 lifetime cap on non-concessional contributions and lowering the existing $180,000 annual cap to $100,000.

The Coalition hope these changes will win over the back bench and ultimately, the Senate.

Brendan Coates, fellow at the Grattan Institute and Author of “A better super system: Assessing the 2016 tax reforms” explained the changes to us.
