Next week the final report of the Commission for Truth and Friendship will be handed to the presidents of East Timor and Indonesia. According to ABC Online, a leaked version of the report says Indonesia is ready to acknowledge its role in violence against the East Timorese in the lead up to the country’s independence. But will the report go far enough?
