The Wire

A new proposal is being considered by the Federal Environment and Heriatge Minister Ian Campbell, that would see the environmental group The Wilderness Society lose ist tax deductable status. The Minister’s office claims the investigation is udnerway to ensure that the charity’s funds are not being used to support political parties. The Wire spoke to The Wilderness Society’s campaign director Virigina Young and Greens Senator Bob Brown about the investigation.
