It’s nearly one-and-a-half years after the federal election, and the public is finally allowed to see who donated the big money to the political parties. Over the course of last financial year, politicians and their affiliates received well over a billion dollars – the bulk of which went into the coffers of the two major parties. But, while we have a fairly good idea which parties are getting the donations, we often don’t know where those donations are coming from.
