The Telecommunications Interceptions Amendment Bill was introduced in Federal Parliament today. Two years ago a Bill with virtually the same name was rejected by the senate because it might have allowed spy agencies to read people emails and text messages without even needing a warrant. Jay Lamey asked Irene Graham form Electronic Frontiers Australia if the story is any different this time.
