According to The International Criminal Police Organization, as much as 30-50% of the world’s water supply is stolen annually.

An international team of researchers led by the University of Adelaide have developed a new method to better understand the drivers of water theft, and what can be done to stop it.

Increased detection, prosecution, conviction, and higher penalties may be the solution to better protect this essential resource.
