Disability Employment Australia hosted the very first Virtual DisabiliTea event in support of a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). The event is aimed at helping people with a disability find long term paid employment. DisabilitiTea, held on October 26, encouraged Australians to gather together, have a cup of tea and support the NDIS. Participants were encouraged to uploads pictures of their afternoon teas to social media to create a national, virtual event. The theme for  Virtual DisabiliTea was social inclusion and employment .
