Village sends Coca Cola Packing

Coca Cola this week announced that it would close down its plant in the Southern India village of Plachimada. This followed protest from local environmental groups that the company was depleting groundwater and dumping possibly cadmium affected waste. Dr Terence Leahy from the University of Newcastle says the win is impressive but companies are still unlikely to change their ways in the near future.
