With Anzac news everywhere, one of the most controversial war veteran stories surrounds the Raise A Glass campaign. $1.2 million has already been raised for Legacy and the National Returned Services League, in a campaign urging Australians to drink VB, and raise money for war veterans. Beer is considered by many to be ingrained in Australian culture. But some are also concerned encouraging alcohol consumption in the midst of increased concern for binge-drinking, especially amongst war veterans, is irresponsible.
