Veteran cartoonist says Bill Leak missed his target

Political cartoonists often aim to provoke or offend and last week Bill leak did just that with his depiction of alcoholism in remote Aboriginal communities.

Both he and The Australian defended the piece saying it was meant to provoke discussion on the breakdown of families in some of those areas.

But some don’t think he brought his poison brush to bear on the right target.
