Recently The United States of America quietly rescinded its pledge not to develop any more Nuclear Weapons. Now it has done the same thing with Landmines. Under BILL CLINTON the US agreed to ban all landmines by 2006, but this week the BUSH administration announced it would be reserving the right to use landmines in future conflicts. The decision has outraged the International Campaign to Ban Landmines. Jay Lamey spoke to the Australian National Co-ordinator, Sister Patricia Pak Poy, about the decision.
