The Wire

A couple of weeks ago on The Wire we remembered Rosa Parks and how her one small action sparked a revolution in the civil rights movement in the United States. So could a similar single event spark some sort of resolution between the Israelis and Palestinians. It seems more likely such an event would come from a more significant player in the conflict. Ilan Pappe from Haifa University in Israel believes if the U.S were to pick up the ball and run with it, the conflict could be ended. But he explained to Neil Smart why such a move needs to happen fast.
