The Wire

The international fight against climate change has taken a huge step forward, as the US and China joined 71 other countries through backing the Paris climate accord. The deal sparks a global initiative to limit climate change to between 1.5 and 2 degrees, as well as a commitment to working towards achieving a net of zero annual emissions. The deal is set to formally commence on the 4^th of November, coincidentally 4 days prior to the U.S. presidential election.
