On Sunday NSW unions held a rally dubbed “The Last Weekend” at Homebush Stadium as the latest part of its protest against the Federal Government’s IR changes. Approximately 30 000 workers and their families are believed to have been in attendance. A further 20 000 workers went to similar rallies throughout NSW. Sarah Greenlees attended the rally where she spoke with Phillip, a construction worker sacked for refusing to sign a workplace agreement.
