The United Nations General Assembly has rejected Russia’s claim on Crimea and is urging nations to consider the peninsula’s referendum invalid.

In the general assembly, 100 countries voted to dismiss the Russian annexation of Crimea, while 11 nations voted against this and 58 abstained.
